My Project

This year I have decided to do a weekly radio show in the style of pick of the pops radio show on BBC radio 2. Music has played a big part in my life ever since i was little I have grown up inhouse where there i always music being played and over the years i have started to become  great fan of all the great hits for the 70s 80s 90 to present day and i know people laugh at me for liking that type of music but who doesn't like a bit of Abba or the Nolan sisters.

 

Every week the radio program will be a different decade started all the way from the 70s up until present day because hopefully people will enjoy some songs from different decades. 

 

The show will be on a Wednesday afternoon at 1pm and it will be an hour long but if the show proves popular i may extend the show to two hours long in future week. To start with it will be prerecord but again if the show is popular, I will start doing live shows and there will be a way for people to email / tweet / Facebook in song suggestions from that week's decade to be played live on the show.

 

I'm hoping the weeks the show will get more interactive with the listeners and there might even be competitions like guess what year this song is from or who sang the song and the price might be a range of different gift cards for Marks & Spencer or Next.
