By the 15/10/20 I am hoping to have recorded by first pilot episode on Mixcloud and have it ready to put on my website by the 16/10/20. By the 15th I need to have a plan of what is going to be on the pilot show and to do some test runs on Mixcloud to see how the software works and how I get the features to work on there - for example playing music and setting up a logo on there. I'm hoping by 8/10/20 I will have a plan of what is going to be on the show and also to be in the stage of designing a logo for the show as well. 

 

THE MUSIC

 

For the show I’m definitely hoping to be able to play music but I’m having to do my research because I do not have a PRS licence but there might be a way of getting round it because some artist have royalty free music online or I can also speak to some of the music students to see if any of them have recording that they would be willing to let me have of them playing music from that week’s decade because I know a lot of music students tend to play the older types of music which might come in handy for my radio show. 

 

TIMINGS 

The pilot episode I’m planning to do is going to be 30 mins long because I think this will be enough time to see how it all works and to see if it's going to be popular with people, who my target is and how long also is it going to take it to edit.

So each week the half an hour show is going to be based on the theme for that week so the music will be from that decade and depending on how popular the show gets over the weeks i might start doing a quiz show where people can email in and on the following weeks show i will pick a winner and they may win a gift card for a shop of my choice but that is only if the viewings are really high because I find if there is a great prize people tend to listen for longer like heart radio does hearts 10k throughout the day so if you hear a certain artist you text in for the chance to win £10,000 which i find t makes people stay and listen it definitely makes me have heart laying on all day because who doesn't want to win a prize.
